The waterborne, clear top-coats for interiors series BAT100 enhance wooden furniture and protect it from wear and from the fading and yellowing effect of light. They are available in three different glosses.

Capacity

BAT1000 series waterborne clear top-coats for interior decoration have a capacity of 9m2 per can of 0,75l and of 30m2 per can of 2,5l.

Tools

They are applicable with brush and spray gun, to be washed with water after use.

Instructions

Raw wood:

  • If you want to color the wood apply the tint to the water of the series BAS200 as per the instructions on the tin.
  • After 4-6 hours , sand with 150 grit paper .
  • Clean the surface with a cloth to remove any sanding residue .
  • Apply one coat of finish .
  • After 4 hours , sand with 320 grit paper .
  • Clean the surface with a cloth to remove any sanding residue .
  • Apply a second coat of finish.
  • To obtain a better aesthetic result , sand with 320 grit paper , wipe the surface with a cloth to remove any sanding residue and apply a third coat of finish.
  • If you want a more uniform surface before applying the first coat of finish , use the bottom BAB100 as per the instructions on the tin.

Varnished wood:

  • If in good condition or if you have slight imperfections , sand with 280 grit paper .
  • Clean the surface with a cloth to remove any sanding residue .
  • Apply one coat of finish .
  • If damaged , sand with grain paper 80/120 to remove the paint before proceeding as for the raw wood.

Colors
